Building Responsibility for a Better, More Inclusive Future
Sustainability and diversity at MJ Conroy are not just policies—they are commitments that guide our decisions, shape our projects, and inspire continuous improvement.
We recognise our responsibility to protect the environment, support our people, promote supplier diversity, and uphold the highest standards of governance. Our goal is to deliver long-term value by embedding sustainable and inclusive practices into every stage of our operations.
We believe that the construction sector plays a vital role in addressing today’s global challenges. Our actions are guided by a robust sustainability framework grounded in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Ambitious Corporate Climate Action
MJ Conroy Construction has submitted near-term and net-zero greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets to SBTi Services for independent validation. The targets are currently progressing through the formal validation process.
The proposed near-term target is to reduce absolute Scope 1 and Scope 2 by 50% by 2030 and net-zero green house gas emissions by 2050.
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global corporate climate action organisation that enables companies and financial institutions to set science-based, voluntary emission reduction targets in line with the Paris Climate Agreement goals. It provides standards, tools, and independent validation to ensure corporate decarbonisation efforts limit global warming to 1.5 c and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

We are dedicated to operating responsibly and sustainably across all our projects, partnerships, supply chains, and supplier relationships. Our approach focuses on:
