MJ Conroy Construction is delighted to announce that it was recently awarded ISO 45001:2018 certification of its Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OH&SMS).
Along with certification to SAFE-T-Cert, MJ Conroy’s certification to this international standard demonstrates the company’s ongoing commitment to meet optimum occupation health and safety standards throughout its operations and demonstrates its commitment to proactively improve its system to preventing accidents and ill-health whilst delivering all projects to highest international standards. ISO 45001:2018 follows the high-level structure approach that is applied to other ISO management system standards such as ISO 9001 (to which MJ Conroy Construction has been certified to since 1995). ISO 450001: 2018 replaced OHSAS 18001 in 2018 as the worlds first international standard dealing with health and safety at work. Firms already certified to OHSAS 18001 have three year period to transition to the new standard.
