MJ Conroy recently completed the two storey office and laboratory extension for Medtronic at their Mervue Galway facility.
As part of this project, PV (Photo Voltaic) solar panels were installed as part of the NZEB (Nearly Zero Energy Building) standard used on this build.
NZEB means the building has a very high energy performance. The nearly zero or very low amount of energy required is covered to a very significant extent by energy from renewable sources, such as solar in this project.
