The work involved the construction of a new Unit Dose manufacturing facility and associated offices adjacent to existing ongoing live work areas.
The project included new structural steel frame, new mezzanine and gantry areas and modifications to existing plant and services, as well as the construction of a new manufacturing core area with associated commissioning and machinery installation.
This project presented considerable challenges due to the heavy construction works required, adjacent to ongoing pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
The work was completed over an eight-month period.
